Enterprising DiVvaz - Empowered Divvaz and Men Awards 2024 Dazzles at Diwali Fair Organized by Enterprising DiVvaz
Gurgaon: On October 26, 2024, the Enterprising DiVvaz hosted a spectacular Diwali fair in Gurgaon. Running from 3 PM to 10 PM, this free entry event was especially curated for families, marking the seventh edition of this vibrant event. Under the leadership of Nidhi Siddharth Khurana, ( Director of Enterprising DiVvaz) co-organized this grandeur event with Mr. Pradeep Kumar Padam. The fair attracted a large audience eager to celebrate the festive spirit.
The event highlighted the contributions of 24 distinguished individuals from various fields, who were honored with awards for their exemplary work across the nation. A highlight of the program was the performance showcase featuring 150 talented women, men, and children, captivating everyone present. The fair transformed into Gurgaon’s largest Diwali shopping exhibition, showcasing an array of designer attire and jewelry. Over 60 shopping and food stalls offered a variety of delights, enabling attendees to enjoy a fruitful shopping experience all in one venue.
Enterprising DiVvaz is a group dedicated to empowering talented women and men through digital platforms, providing them opportunities to showcase their skills, with a significant following of over 300,000 on social media that continues to grow.
Visitors were enchanted by a rich display of traditional and unique decorative items, with clay diyas, Laxmi Padukas, and various ornamental items being focal points of attraction. Products created through self-help groups, especially Laxmi Padukas with their distinctive designs and colors, became incredibly popular. Colorful Bandhej sarees and hand-embroidered kurtas from Rajasthan caught attendees' eyes, while Maheshwari and Chanderi silk garments from Madhya Pradesh were a hit for their exquisite weaving and traditional designs.
Decorative goods also drew considerable interest, with vibrant clay diyas and decorative items crafted by Haryana potters enhancing the fair’s visual appeal. Notably, terracotta statues and decorative items from Bankura, West Bengal, captivated visitors seeking to adorn their homes for Diwali, while the renowned Patola sarees from Gujarat’s Patan and intricate embroidery from Kutch attracted considerable admiration. A vast collection of silver , fashion , brass , beads and pearls jewellery was super hit amongst women keeping in mind the festive vibes.
